Overview
Coze
An AI Bot development platform from ByteDance, supporting multi-Agent orchestration, plugins, workflows, and one-click publishing to social platforms.
Coze is an AI Bot / Agent development platform launched by ByteDance, with its international version going live in early 2024. It brings large language models, plugins, knowledge bases, workflows, and multi-Agent orchestration together on a single low-code canvas, allowing non-developers to quickly build chatbots that can be published to Discord, Telegram, LINE, and other channels.
The product’s highlight is orchestration rather than plain chatting: you can configure long-term memory, scheduled tasks, and external API calls for your Bot, and even have multiple sub-Agents divide up the work to complete complex tasks. Coze’s plugin marketplace covers common capabilities such as search, image generation, code execution, and database reads/writes, with the community continuously contributing new plugins.
The free tier already includes a generous amount of quota, making it ideal for individual creators and small teams validating their ideas; paid plans offer higher concurrency, private deployment, and enterprise-grade knowledge bases. Compared with more developer-oriented workflow platforms such as Dify and n8n, Coze’s advantages lie in its low barrier to entry, wider range of publishing channels, and smooth integration with ByteDance ecosystem products like Cici.
Note: Accounts and ecosystems are not interoperable between the international version and the domestic Chinese version (扣子); the availability of some plugins and models varies by region; and debugging complex workflows requires an understanding of variable passing and error handling.
